Florida Certification Board approved courses such as “Community-Based Approaches to Chronic Disease Prevention“ equips Community Health Workers, Health Navigators and other Peer to Peer community leaders with the knowledge and practical skills to support chronic disease prevention and management at the community level.

There is no pre-requisite for individual educational training that IS NOT considered for the Certified Community Health Worker certification application.


     NOTE: FOR STUDENTS SEEKING FIRST TIME CCHW CERTIFICATION STATUS, YOU MUST FIRST ESTABLISH AN ONLINE ACCOUNT WITH THE FCB BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR ONLINE CCHW TRAINING. PLEASE GO TO THE FCB WEBSITE AT www.flcertificationboard.org AND CLICK ON "MY ACCOUNT" TO ACCESS THE PORTAL. A FCB CERTIFICATION SPECIALIST WILL ASSIST YOU THROUGH THE FCB APPLICATION PROCESS.
